Who is Dee J. Stone? Well, it’s a combination of twin sisters, “Dee”, and “J,” who together make up Dee J. Stone. Unlike many writers, we didn’t like writing growing up. Actually, we hated it. Yeah, pretty odd. But we loved creating stories, usually staying up until the wee hours of the night playing with our dolls. It wasn’t until our sophomore year of high school that we actually began putting our stories to paper. And guess what? We LOVED it! So began fan fiction on the X-Men, the Justice League, Star Trek, Warcraft, and much more (don’t worry, we’re not total nerds). After high school, we started to write actual books.
In the next few years, we started getting very serious about our writing and joined many writing forums, which helped a lot. With the support of many fellow writers on the forums, we published our first book, No Ordinary Hero, on January 26, 2013. The rest, as they say, is history.
We’ve published books of many genres because we don’t like to stick to one genre. If a story enters our heads and begs to be written, we will write it no matter what. Here is the link to our Author Page on Amazon, where you can check out our books.
Although we’re two people and will each publish posts on the website (and we’ll sometimes write some together), we will refer to ourselves as “I” because saying “we” all the time will be a little strange.
